South Colchester Community Health Board

The role of the South Colchester Community Health Board is to involve communities in health planning and service delivery by providing opportunities for people to express their ideas, suggestions, and concerns regarding health care.  Based on broad public consultation and participation, The South Colchester Community Health Board develops and regularly updates a Community Health Plan for the area which includes the geographic area and communities in and around Gays River, Old Barns, Brookfield, Stewiacke, South Branch, Shortt’s Lake, West St. Andrews, Shubenacadie East, Hilden, Pleasant Valley, Princeport, Wittenburg, and Stewiacke Valley.
