Paving work takes place next week at facilities in Glace Bay and New Waterford as part of regular facility maintenance. Work begins on Monday, Aug. 31 at Glace Bay Hospital and is expected to take about four days to complete. At New Waterford Consolidated Hospital, work will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 1 and will continue intermittently for up to four days. Work takes place at Taigh Na Mara on Friday, Sept. 4 and is expected to take one day to complete.
Nova Scotia Health continues to work to improve the blood collection toll-free telephone appointment booking process. This includes adding more staff to address issues and delays people may experience when they call to book a blood collection appointment.
